Italian Shrimp

I really enjoy making shrimp dishes. And of course eating them. One of Matt’s favorite is Chipotle Lime Shrimp. While I do enjoy it,  I don’t always want a dish with quite that much kick. And while it is simple to make, I don’t always have the ingredients on hand. A dish I do have ingredients on hand for is Italian Shrimp. Now this is a dish where I don’t have exact measurements for the ingredients. But be bold and enjoy experimenting with amounts. Continue reading


Pigs in a Blanket

Besides Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip, one of my favorite appetizers to make is pigs in a blanket. They’re perfect for the big game, tailgating before a concert, or munchies before a night out. My mom made them frequently when I was growing up so they provide a nice flashback to being a kid. The biggest difference though between the ones my mom made and the ones I make are the addition of brown sugar and butter. The butter and brown sugar mixture adds a little bit of sweetness that may not seem like much but once you start doing it you won’t stop.
